Northumberland Beaches

Cocklawburn Beach, Northumberland.

Cocklawburn beach is a few miles south of the River Tweed and is just north of Cheswick Sands. It is a good starting point for a walk down the coast.

The beach is stony above the tide line but is sandy when the tide is out, with many rock pools to explore.
